Celebrated TV actress and model Tania Ahmed and popular TV actress, model and dance artiste Nadia Ahmed worked together in a drama serial after many years. They shared the screen for Bangladesh Television’s new drama
serial titled Protikkha.
Produced by Bangladesh Television (BTV), Masum Shahriar wrote story of the serial. Shooting of the serial was done in the capital’s Uttara’s different locations and BTV. Nadia informed that this nine-episode serial will go on air on BTV
after two months.
Actress Tania Ahmed has already faced a storm in her real life. After overcoming the issue, she has been acting regularly now. Storm comes in the life of artistes. But facing that storm and crisis the artiste has to stand in front of the camera due to survival of life. In fact, industry survives the artistes. So, taking personal issue in one side, Tania Ahmed is acting regularly. By this way, she is proving how much she is a professional actor. In the serial Protikkha, Tania is playing the role of Shahana. While talking about acting in this serial, the actress said, “The government’s different technical development based activities like curbing child marriage, opportunity for free study for the children and curbing child labours, etc are to be presented in the story of this drama serial. Besides presenting development issues, the playwright of the serial tried to present social decays and how to prevent these in the society. As an actor, I have worked in this serial from own responsibility to the society. I hope viewers will enjoy the drama series on BTV.”
Actress Nadia Ahmed was in USA for many days. She came to Bangladesh on July 23. After returns, she took part in the shooting of a serial. On July 30, she took part in the shooting of serial Protikkha for BTV. The actress shared her feelings by this way for acting in the serial, “Now I can’t remember when I last worked with Tania Apa. For this reason, I really enjoyed a lot working with her in the serial after a long time. I am playing the role of Aditi in this serial. Aditi is an independent-minded, intelligent and also self-dependent. Basically Protikkha is a social awareness creating drama series. For this reason, I liked much to act in the serial. In this serial, for the first time, I acted with wearing uniform of a pilot, which really felt me very good. I think every family of this country should watch this serial for creating social awareness among the people regarding addressing the social issues. I give cordial thanks to BTV to produce such a story for a drama serial.”
Nadia also said that tomorrow she will take part in Kaiser Ahmed’s ongoing serial titled Bakulpur Returns for Maasranga Television.
Meanwhile, Tania Ahmed said that she is also acting in another drama serial titled Palta Hawa.
