Tahir, Nawaz added to Sylhet Sixers squad

With BPL 2019 just couple of weeks away from kicking off, Sylhet Sixers have roped South Africa’s Imran Tahir and Pakistani Mohammad Nawaz into their squad.
The franchise confirmed the inclusions of these two foreign players on their official Facebook page.
Nawaz has represented Pakistan in 3 Tests, 14 ODIs and 16 T20Is. In 90 Twenty20 matches, he has scored 772 runs and bagged 68 wickets. Hs recently played for Cape Town Blitz in South Africa’s Mzansi Super League T20 tournament.
Tahir is an exciting name in world cricket. He is currently one of the top leg-spinners in the era of wrist-spinners. He has taken 270 wickets in international cricket across 20 Tests, 91 ODIs and 37 T20Is. He played T20Is for World XI as well.
The 39-year-old has 276 scalps in 231 T20 matches at 7.07 including two five-wicket hauls. He took four wickets from seven matches for Nelson Mandela Bay Giants in inaugural MSL this year.
The Sixers previously introduced banned Australian cricketer David Warner to the squad. He will be captaining the side this time. The squad also includes foreigners like Sandeep Lamichhane, Sohail Tanvir and Mohammad Irfan.
