A two-day seminar on ‘Promoting Road Safety for Children’ will begin at Accident Research Institute (ARI) room of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) today.
ARI of BUET will organize the seminar while Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan MP will attend the seminar as the chief guest and education secretary Nazrul Islam Khan as the special guest.
BUET Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Khaleda Ekram will preside over the function.
Among others, representatives of Bangladesh Roads and Transport Authority (BRTA), Bangladesh Roads and Transport Corporation (BRTC), Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee (BRAC), University Grants Commission (UGC), Center for Injury Prevention and Research (CIPRB) and principals of different colleges will attend the programme.
