To accelerate the Tourism Industry of the country and make success the Tourism Year 2016 declared by the government, Tourism and Hospitality Management Department of Daffodil International University (DIU) and ‘Chhayabanee’ a media communication organization are jointly going to organize “Ajanta Fashion Beautiful Bangladesh Photography Contest 2016” from January 24-26 at DIU.
This was informed today in a “Meet the Press” held on Thursday at DIU Auditorium. Presided over by Prof Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, the “Meet the Press” was addressed by Mahbub Pavez, Head, Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of DIU, SM Altaf Hossain, country’s renowned photographer and Chief Executive Officer, DRIK ICT Ltd., Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, Senior Assistant Director (PR) of DIU, Arif Russel, Chief Executive Officer, Chhayabanee and Ajanta Paul, Chief Executive Officer, Ajanta Fashions Ltd.
It was informed in the “Meet the Press” that the photographic contest will be held based on the natural beauty of Bangladesh, History, cultural Heritage and festival. It was also informed that the students of colleges and universities, professional and amateur photographers, nature lovers who love Bangladesh and her Nature will get the opportunity to participate in this contest.
Three Best winner of the contest will get Tk. 30000, Tk. 20000 and Tk.10000 as prize money respectively. Rashed Khan Menon, Minister, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation will be present at the closing ceremony of the contest on January 26 as chief guest.
