A five-member delegation of Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC), led by its Director General of Administration and Finance Department Fahad A Al Dakkan, met Dhaka University (DU) Vice-chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at his office on Tuesday.
The other members of the delegation are Prof Dr M Imtiaz Hossain, Vice-chancellor of Islamic University of Technology (IUT), a subsidiary organ of OIC, Dr Razley Bin Mohammad Nordin, Prof Dr Md Abdul Mottalib and Prof Dr M Ruhul Amin.
During the meeting, the both sides discussed possibilities of undertaking collaborative academic, research and training programmes on information and communication technology (ICT) jointly by Dhaka University and the OIC.
