No alternatives to develop skills for tech-based human resource: Jabbar

Minister for Telecommunications and Information Technology Mustafa Jabbar on Tuesday said there is no alternative to develop skills in various digital applications to create technology-based human resource.
“We are facing employment crisis due to our traditional education system… that is why the present government is adopting and implementing various innovative programmes for the young generation to utilize their merit and creativity along with traditional education,” said Jabbar while addressing the inaugural session of a training programme at Janata tower here.
Information and Communication Technology Department organised the training programme aiming to boost young generation’s potentials.
“Our young generation is very meritorious to overcome the challenges of the upcoming days…It is very important to create a suitable environment and opportunities for them,” he continued.
He also urged the trainees to prepare themselves for keeping themselves engaged in the development of the digital era by adopting their own talent and creativity.
Digicon Technologies Ltd Managing Director Wahidur Rahman Sharif, Skill Development for Mobile Game and Application Project Director K M Abdul Wadud and Deputy Project Director Shaikh Khalilur Rahman, among others, spoke on the occasion.
