The Naogaon-06 by-election murmurs on. Continuous voting will be held on October 18 from 08.00 am to 05.00 pm. Law enforcement, district and upazila administrations are very active with the polls. Voters have been trained to cast their votes in this constituency for several days through EVM. Awami League, BNP and National People’s Party have candidates of these three parties. Raninagar Upazila Awami League Vice-President and Upazila Parishad Chairman Md Anwar Hossain Helal is contesting from Awami League with the boat symbol. Rezaul Islam (Riju) is contesting from BNP with the symbol of the Sheaf of Paddy. Intekhar Alam is contesting from Bangladesh People’s Party.
