A man was killed in a road accident in Dhekuria Haat area under Kazipur upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Khalilur Rahman, 55, a resident of Bilchatar village in Maizbari union of the upazila.
Kazipur police inspector (investigation) Humayun Kabir said the accident took place in the area at around 11am when a sand-laden truck crushed him. He died on the spot.
A case was filed in this connection.
