National Desk :Magura district LGED Executive Engineer Mirza Md. Iftekher Ali and Jessore district LGED Executive Engineer Abu Md. Shahriar have signed two separate agreements with Max Ran Ken (JV) Chairman Engineer Golam Mohammad, Executive Director, Zahidur Rahman to build two bridges in the districts on Tuesday at LGED Headquarters, Agargaon in the city . State Minister Youth and Sports, Advocate Biren Sikder M,P, Ranajit Kumar M P, Prime Minister’s Personnel Assistant Secretary, Saifuzzaman Shekhar and LGED Chief Engineer Md. Wahidur Rahman, Project Director Md. Abdus Salam Mondal and other high officials were also present during the signing ceremony.The bridges will be built at the cost of Tk 138.6 cr under LGED Upazila and Union Parishad Roads Bridge Construction Project.Tk 59.934 cr is allocated for building 600 metres long PC girder bridge over Modhumoti river at Englang Ghat of Mohammadpur upazila under Magura district and Tk 78.15 cr for building 693 metres long PC girder bridge over Bhoirab river at Noapara approach road of Ovoinagar upazila under Jessore district.After construction of the bridges, about 2.5 lakh people of the districts will get benefit out of the project and could communicate with the district headquarters easily.
