Physically-Challenged Development Foundation (PDF), an organization working for disability rights promotion, Jahangirnagar University (JU) branch, on Saturday formed a new executive committee for next year.
Abdul Jalil, a student of Government and Politics department of JU, was made President while Kawser Hamid, a fourth year student of JU History department and Ibraheem Khalil, a third year student of JU Geography and Environment department, were made Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Professor of JU History department ATM Atiqur Rahman announced the new committee at the seminar room of Jahir Raihan auditorium as the chief guest while Professor of JU Physics department AA Mamun addressed the function as the special guest.
Central President of PDF Md Mizanur Rahman, Vice-President Muhammad Abdul Khalique, and JU PDF president Sazzad Hossain Joy addressed the function, among others.
