Police has failed to recover the abducted school student though 15 days have passed after her abduction at Begumganj in Noakhali, family members alleged.
It is learnt that Khadiza Begum Sumaiya (15), a student of class nine of Durgapur High School was abducted while she was returning home from the school on October 1 by Shahabuddin, son of late Amir Hossain of the same area .
Later, taka two lakh ransom was demanded through mobile phone Nos 01853755010 and 01811229436 from their family members and the caller identified himself as Parvez . He also threatened that if the family members take legal action, she will be killed .
In this connection , Sumaiya’s mother Parvin Akthar has filed a case with Begumganj Model Thana but the police has yet to recover the abducted girl.
Her family members have been passing days in panic.
