Bijori in three new serials

Smiling face viewers’ choice popular TV actress Bijori Barkatullah has returned to Dhaka from Kolkata recently after a week-long visit there. After returning Bangladesh Bijori has engaged with acting for three new drama serials.
These serials are: Abdullah Rana’s Mega City Vagabond, Rahmatullah Tuhin’s Gontobbo Niruddesh and Montasir Bipon’s Kachhakachhi. Abdullah Rana, Pantho Shahriar and Iraj Ahmed have written stories of these serials respectively.
Bijori is acting in three different roles in these serials. While talking about her performances in these serials she told this correspondent, “I am not convinced to work in maximum number of works at a time. For this reason, viewers do not watch me frequently on the screen. But I work in those plays and serials which stories are really nice. I am working in these three new serials in three different roles. In one serial, I am acting in role of an industrialist’s daughter, while in another serial I am acting in role of a wedding maniac lady. In rest one I am performing in role of a lady who is searching a killer. I am trying my level best to express my roles properly in these serials. These serials will be telecasted in different satellite channels.”
Now Bijori’s acted and Sajib’s directed a serial titled Jibon Thekey Neya Ei Shohor-er Golpo is being telecasted on Banglavision.
Therefore, in the middle of May she will start shooting of Aniruddho Russell’s directed a sequel Eid serial of seven episodes titled Niamat Shaheb O Taar Bibigon.
It may be mentioned that Bijori debuted her acting career on the screen by a play titled Sukh-er Chharpotro in 1988. It was produced by her father Barkatullah.
In her matured age, Bijori first acted in serial Kothao Keu Nei in 1993. Basically after passing audition Bijori became actress in media. In package play, she first acted in Abdus Sattar’s directed a play titled Megh Kalo. Mahfuz Ahmed performed against her in that play. After that to till now she has acted in many plays and serials.
Bijori first performed as a model in a TV commercial (TVC) of Peuly Turmeric Cream under Sadrul Pasha’s direction.
In Bangladesh, Bijori is the only model who performed in maximum number of TVCs of products of Tibet.
