A farmer Golam Mostafa (50) was beaten to death at the village Koyen in Baraigram Upazila under Natore district on Thursday evening.
Golam Mostafa was a son of Hazrat Ali of the village Dangapara under Lalpur upazila. He took 12 thousand taka loan from a unregistered `Bandu Samity’ of Koyen bazar two years ago. Firstly, he would pay installment and interest of the loan. But he failed to pay installment and interest for a few months.
As a result, two members of the Bandu Samity’ Goutom Kumer (30) and Sabuj (26) caught forcibly Golam Mostafa on the path of Koyen when he was going at the relative’s house Darikhoir.
Then they took him at a mango-garden of the village Koyen and beat him randomly. Seeing it, local people recovered him and took at the local Bonpara Amina Hospital.
Then, doctors declared him death.
