Two killed in Nandail

Two people were killed in a clash over land boundary in Nandail upzalia in the district on Tuesday night and Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Hasim Uddin, 60 and Abdus Satter, 50.
Saiful Islam, officer in-charge of Nandail police station confirmed the news to The New Nation.
He said there was a longstanding dispute over the land boundary between Abdul Mutaleb and Abdul Haque of Nayapara village of the upazila.
On Tuesday night, at one stage of altercation, two groups locked into a clash leaving Hasim Uddin and Abdus Satter critically injured. Both of them reportedly went to stop the clash.
Local people rushed then to the Mymensing Medical College Hospital (MMCH) and Kishoreganj Hospital.
Abdus Satter succumbed to his injuries at MMCH on Tuesday night. On the other hand Hasim Uddin later shifted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead on Wednesday afternoon.
