Altafur Rahman, a freedom fighter and former lawmaker, died at a hospital in Florida, USA on Wednesday night. Rahman died in a hospital of Orlando city of Florida of the United States of America at the age of 87, said a press release. He left behind his wife, a son and a daughter, a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
His Namaz-e-Janaza was held on Friday at Orlando city, the release added. Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith and Chairman of Bangabandhu Foundation Prof Dr. AK Abdul Momen expressed deep shock and sorrow at his death.
