Zaman involved with banking business as an alternate Director of Dhaka Bank back in 1996. Subsequently, she has appointed Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Dhaka Bank Limited on June 29, 2004 and continued her tenure till March 28, 2006. She also served as member of the Executive Committee as well as Audit Committee of the bank.
