On the second day of the eviction, 100 more illegal structures have been demolished in the land s of Chattogram Port Authority from MPB Gate to Navy Gate in New Mooring Taktarpool area of the city.The eviction drive began at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
150 illegal installations were evicted on the previous day. A total of Two acres of land have been vacated in two days.
Assistant Estate Officer, CPA Muhammad Shihab Uddin said illegal occupants were being evicted from the port area as part of a regular process. Such campaigns will continue.
