One CNG auto-rickshaw driver was killed by the pushing the covered van in city yesterday. The incident was occurred near customs bridge under Bandar thana in city at early morning yesterday. The auto-rickshaw driver was identified as Delwar Hossain (25). Delwar hails from Kachua upazila of Chandpur district and son of one Dudu Meah.
He was the resident of Siraj Miah’s house of Panchalaish area on rental basis. Chittagong Medical college police camp sources said CNG Driver received fatal injury while a speedy covered van pushed on back of the auto rickshaw and he was immediately rushed to the hospital where the attending physicians declared him dead.
