In 1991, late noted filmmaker Ehtesham’s directed movie Chandni was released. Shabnaj and Naim acted as a pair in that movie. During that time the movie was super hit. Later this pair also presented many hit movies.
Basically in 1967, Ehtesham made movie Chokori to cast Nadim and Shabana as a pair. After 24 years of making Chokori Ehtesham made the movie Chandni.
After making 24 years of Chandni film actor Naim himself has taken initiative to make Chandni again.
While confirming the matter Naim told this correspondent, “New Chandni is not to be made with the context of 1991’s Chandni. It will be a new Chandni regarding to the present time. We will prepare its story and making and will also give its direction. Two new faces will act in two lead roles in the movie. From today we will start our hunting in this regard. Educated and trained in acting males and females can contact by e-mail to show their interests to act in this movie. After selection from them we will finally select hero and heroine for this Chandni.”
“If we get two new faces within this time we are taking preparation to start shooting from October. Shabnaj can also acted in an important role in this movie,” Naim also said.
Naim requested to the interested candidates who can get the opportunity to act in this movie can send their CVs along with five copies colour photographs in different angles by this mail account:

He also mentioned that remake Chandni will be produced by Naim himself.
It may be mentioned that from many years Naim and Shabnaj are out of acting. As a pair, they presented many hit movies. Sonia, Dil, Love, Jid, among others are their acted mentionable hit movies.
In last Eid, this popular couple was last seen on the screen of Maasranga TV in a programme.
