Bangladesh U-19 team were 217 for 9 in 57.3 overs against visiting Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) Under-19 team of India on he opening day of their three-day match at BKSP ground-3 in Savar on Monday, before the match was called off due to wet outfield following rain.
Batting first after winning the toss, Bangladesh U-19 posted the score with Md Saifuddin contributing team highest 37 runs. Zakir Hasan (36), Joyraj Sheikh Emon (31), Prosenjit Das (30), Munim Shahriar (29) and Mehedi Hasan Rana (25) were the other notable scorers for the home team.
Sanjib Saha and Rifat Pradhan were batting on 7 and 1 runs respectively.
Gaurav Patel claimed 4 wickets for 59 runs; Kuldeep Singh grabbed 3 wickets for 48 runs while Arjun Patel and Ashwin Das took 1 wicket each for 8 and 21 runs respectively.
