Bangladesh U-16 basketball team will start their South Asian U-16 Boys Basketball Championship campaign as they face Bhutan in the tournament opening match scheduled to be held today (Tuesday) in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu.
Earlier, a 16-member of Bangladesh U-16 Boys Basketball team reached Nepal on Sunday to take part in the championship scheduled to be held from September 5-9 in Kathmandu. Apart from host Nepal, Bangladesh, The Maldives, Bhutan, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will take part in the five-day meet. The tournament will be held in league basis while Walton Group is the sponsor of Nepal-bound basketball team.
