The certificate award ceremony of (No. 102) Junior Command and Staff Course of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at BAF Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) of BAF Base Bashar in the city on Thursday.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Ops and Trg), Air Vice-Marshal M Naim Hassan addressed the function as the chief guest and distributed the certificates and trophy among the graduating officers.
Fifteen officers of BAF and one officer each from Bangladesh Navy, Indian Air Force, Royal Malaysian Air Force, Nigerian Air Force and Sri Lanka Air Force attended the course.
Squadron Leader K M Shaikh Bin Zaman of BAF was awarded the “Chief of Air Staff’s Trophy” in the function for his outstanding performance in the course.
Assistant Chief of Air Staff M Naim Hassan thanked the government of participating countries in the course for sending their learner officers and hoped that they would continue to send their officers in future as well.
Earlier, in the welcome speech, the Officer Commanding of the Institute, Group Captain Md Shaharul Huda briefed on the course curriculum.
