In the 15th CEMS Global Dhaka Motor 2022, AG Motors Limited – a concern of ANWAR Group of Industries unveiled the magnificent sedan sports back Peugeot 508. In the event the new Logo of the enigmatic French brand was launched as well. The event was graced by the respected Economic Counselor of the French Embassy, Pierre-Henry Lenfant, and Vice President of France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce, Mr MA Riaz and the respected President of CEMS Bangladesh, MsMeherun Islam along with the Director Operation of AG Motors Limited, YousufAman.
At the event Henry said, under the guidance of Jean – Pierre Peugeot, his two sons give life to an industrial manufacturer way back in 1810 – a steel foundry producing products such as band saws, umbrella, frames, and coffee grinders.
Under the guidance of Manwar Hossain, son of Anwar Hossain, the founding chairman, of the Anwar Group, who pioneered the diversification of his family business from 1952, and regretfully passed away in August 2021, I wish and hope that business relations between France and Bangladesh will expand in the field of motor cars and beyond.
