68,249 students appeared in SSC exams in Sylhet Board

A total of 68,249 students will take part in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examinations-2014 at 224 examinations centres in Sylhet Education Board.
All necessary preparations have been completed for holding the SSC examinations in a completely copying-free and peaceful atmosphere in all 58 upazilas in eight districts under Sylhet Education Board, official sources said.
Chairman of Sylhet Education Board Professor Monir Uddin said 68,249 candidates, including 30,215 males and 38.034 females, from 115 examinations centres under the board.
Controller of Examinations of Sylhet Education Board Abdul Mannan Khan said all preparations have already been completed for holding the upcoming SCC examinations this year at all examination centres in a peaceful atmosphere.
A total of 115 vigilance teams, including 4 teams comprising of the teachers, seven comprising of officials of the Education Board and three comprising of retired Principals and Professors, have been formed this time to monitor the examinations.
A number of SCC candidates expressed their satisfaction over no load shedding of power and said that they have been taking excellent preparations for the examinations amid uninterrupted power supply.
