Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two people along with one foreign-made pistol, two magazines, six rounds of bullet and 15 bottles of sex-stimulating syrup from Chhatipotti area in the district town on Wednesday night.
The arrestees were identified as Farhad Khan,45, a manager of Madhumoti Cinema Hall and son of late Amjad Ali of Sundrom village, and Kamrul Hasan, an employee of the cinema hall and son of late Masud Ali of Bharella village of Burichong upazila.
Major Mostafa Kaizar, commanding officer of Comilla Crime Prevention Company-2 of RAB-11, said tipped off, a team of CPC conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo at about 9.30pm.
The elite force also recovered one foreign-made pistol, two magazines, six rounds of bullet and 15 bottles of sex stimulating Codex syrup from their possession.
A case was filed in this connection.
