With a fresh vow to materialize the dreams of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to build ‘Sonar Bangla’ and to bring back the fugitive convicted killers of Bangabandhu to execute verdict of the murder case, the National Mourning Day and 41st Martyrdom Anniversary of Architect of Independence and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed on Mondat paying rich tributes to Bangabandhu in different districts .  Khulna Correspondent reports: The National Mourning Day and the 41st martyrdom anniversary of the architect of independent Bangladesh and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed yesterday in Khulna .
Marking the Day, Khulna district administration arranged different programmes. On the eve of sun rising, half mast flags were hoisted atop of all governments, non government offices, educational and other institutions. At 8.30 am mourning rally was brought out which started from KDA New market intersection and ended in front of Khulna Betar where floral wreaths were placed at the Mural of Bangabandhu, wearing black badges. Recitation from the holy Quran, Special munajat and praying were offered at mosques , temples and churches in the city and at nine upazila areas of Khulna. Discussion meeting and other cultural literary functions were also arranged at different offices including Awami League party offices.
‘Doa Mahfil and distributing ‘Tobarak’ were also held at different places of Khulna city and Nine upazila areas.
Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad, Khulna unit, the city, district and upazila units of AL and its front organizations, Khulna University (KU), Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Khulna Press Club. Khulna Union of Journalist (KUJ), Khulna City Corporation and other organizations also observed the day in a befitting manner.
Dupchanchia(Bogra) Correspondent reports: The National Mourning Day commemorating Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 41st Martyrdom Anniversary was observed with enthusiasm across the district including twelve upazilas of Bogra district yesterday. Special prayers also offered at all the places of worships seeking divine blessings for the eternal peace of the souls of the martyrs of August 15 carnage.
Marking the day, a rally was brought out from Zilla School Play Ground premises and paraded the main roads of the district participating head of the different educational institute, teachers, students, government service holders of the different offices and AL leaders.
The programme started with the hoisting of National Flag at half-mast and raising of black flags atop all public and private buildings including deputy commissioner office in the morning as a mark of respect to the martyrs of August 15 carnage. Wearing black badges, hundreds of people from all walks of life pay profound homage to the Father of the Nation by placing wreaths at his portrait there.
President of district Awami-league Alhaj Mmtaj Uddin along with his activists laid wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu at Bangabandhu Memorial and urged the common people of the district.
District administration arranged the milad and doa mahfil at the Zilla School play ground at 9 am.
Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj reports: Kishoreganj District Administration, ruling Awami League, Jasod, Ganatantree Party, CPB, Gono-Forum, NAP and many socio-cultural organszations making the National Mourning Day and 41st Martyrdom Anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman chalked out different programmes including rally , discussion meeting etc.
The day’s programme started with the hoisting of National flag at half-mast and raising of flack flags atop all public and private building.
A discussion meeting arranged by District Administration held at Local Art Council hall in the town on Monday with Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas in the chair.
Dilara Begum Asma M.P was attended as chief guest. It was addressed among others by Zila Parished Administrator Adv Zillur Rahman, Police Super Anowar Hossain Khan, Civil Surgeon Dr. M.A Gani, ADC (Gen) Tarafder Md. Akhter Jamil, District Awami League President Advocate Kamrul Hasan Shajahan, General Secretary Adv M.A Afzal, Ganatantry Party District President Adv Dolon Bhowmic, P.P Adv Shah Azizul Hoque, Senior Journalist Saiful Haque Mollah Dulu, Sakauddin Ahmed Rajon and NDC Umma Fatema.
A mourning rally was brought out in the town led by D.C Md. Azimuddin Biswas and Police Super Anower Hossain Khan marking the day.
District Awami League arranged a discussion meeting at its office with Unit President Advocate Kamrul Hasan Shahajan.
Hindu Kallan Trust arranged a discussion at Local Collectorate Conference room with ADC (Gen) Tarafder Md. Akhter Jamil in the chair. Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas attended as Chief Guest. It was addressed among others, by G.P Bijoy Shankor Roy, Trust Member Lipu Roy, CAB President Alam Sarowar Tito, Women Leader Advocate Maya Bhomik and District Awami League Women Affairs Secretary Bilkis Begum. District Art Council arranged a cultural function at its auditorium in the evening.
Rampal-Mongla Correspondent says: National Mourning Day and 41st Martyrdom Anniversary of the Father of the Nation , Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was observed yesterday with respect ,honor and solemnity both in Rampal and Mongla . Upazila Administration of both Upazillas chalked out an elaborate programmes to celebrate the Day .
After that, a rally was brought out that paraded Rampal Bazar Area . Finishing the rally , a discussion meeting was held at Upazilla Auditorium . UNO of Rampal Upazilla Rajib Kumar Roy presided over all the functions where Upazilla Chairman Sk. Mohammad Abu Sayed was present as chief guest .

In Mongla, Upazilla Administration brought out a rally at 9 am with the participation of Public representatives, Gov. officials, Union Chairman of different Unions , teachers and students of different institutions , journalists ,NGO representatives and people from all walks of life. After the rally ,a discussion meeting was held at Mongla Upazilla Audiotorium. Ex-MP of Rampal-Mongla constituency Habibun Nahar Talukder was present there as Chief Guest .Upazilla Chairman Howlader Abu Taher ,Upazilla Awameleague president Principal Sunil Kumar Biswash , Awameleauge Secretary Sk. Ibrahim, Pouro AW President Mr. Sahajahan ,Pouro AW secretary Abdur Rahman ,Upazilla Mohila-Vice Chairman Kamrun Nahar Hai ,Upazilla Muktijoddha Commander Fakir Abul Kalam delivered a valuable speech in the function. BSS from Rangpur reports: The National Mourning Day and 41st Martyrdom Anniversary of Architect of Independence and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is being observed here yesterday paying rich tribute to Bangabandhu.
The District Administration, Rangpur City Corporation, Awami League (AL),its associate organisations, educational institutions, government departments and other organisations have been observing the Day through various daylong programmes.
The programmes include hoisting of the national flag at half-mast in all government, semi-government, autonomous, private buildings and educational institutions soon after sunrise.

The day’s programmes began with hoisting of national flags and black flags at half-mast, placing of wreaths at the portraits of Bangabandhu and four national leaders, offering special prayers and bringing out mourning processions.
The district administration organized a discussion meeting and Doa Mahfil at the Shilpakala Academy Auditorium with Deputy Commissioner Kazi Ashraf Uddin in the chair.

A mourning rally, participated by students, government officials and various cross section of people was brought out from the premises of Deputy Commissioner’s office on yesterday mourning. The rally paraded the main thoroughfares and ended at local Ambica Maidan.
DC Sardar Sharafat Ali, police super Md. Jamil Hassan, Awami League leaders Advocate Sbal Chandra Saha, Syed Masud Hossain and activists’ of AL’s front organization’s paid homage to the Father of the Nation by placing wreaths at his portrait.
Many government, semi-government and social organizations also paid their homage.
Faridpur local unit of Jubo League organized a blood donation camp at the Ambica Memorial marking the day. Special prayers were offered at all religious institutions of the district town seeking eternal peace of the departed souls of Bangabandhu and other martyrs of the August 15 carnage.
In the evening a discussion meeting on Bangabandhu will be held at local Kabi Jasimuddin hall, where LGRD & Cooperatives Minister Engineer Khondoker Mosharraf Hossain is expected to be present as chief guest.
