A team of law enforcing agency, in a drive arrested a youth along with a firearm from Shalbagan Power House area in the city on early Wednesday.
The arrestee was identified as Alam Alias Kalu, 28, son of late Badsha, a resident of Shiroil Asam Koloni area of the city. Officer in charge (OC) of Chondrima model police station Humayun Kabir said that acting on a tip off, a police team conducted a drive in the area and arrested Alam. A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
