A young man was arrested while he was trying to sabotage rail line in Koshba upazila on Tuesday night.
The arrestee was identified as Shakil.
Police said an Ansar member arrested Shakil while he along with an associate was trying to unscrew a slipper of the rail line.
However, his aide managed to flee the scene.
Police found three screws of rail line in his pocket.
A case was filed with Akhaura Railway Police Station in connection with the incident.
Later, Shakil was produced before a court on Wednesday morning.
