Police arrested an youth allegedly linked with leaked SSC’s Mathematics question paper of 30 marks MCQ at Sherpur on Saturday at 9:30 am.
The suspect has been identified as Md Solaiman Hossain (25), son of Md Aminul Islam, inhabitant of Sherpur Sadar upazila.
The police intercepted him near the gate of the Sherpur Model Girls’ Institute and seized his Android mobile phone.
On Saturday morning at 9:30 am Solaiman was standing with an Android mobile phone set in front of the Model Institute. At that time suspecting his movements, Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Sayed AZ Morshed Ali interrogated him. Who admitted his involvement in the question paper leakage crime.
ADM Sayed AZ Morshed Ali said that regular cases would be lodged against Solaiman Hossain.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Mostafizur Rahman of Sherpur sadar police station said, the allegation of questioning leakage against Solaiman is taken to be true. Process of filing a case under the Information and Communication Technology and Public Examination Control Act is on at Sherpur Police Station.
