Kotwali police on Saturday afternoon recovered the body of a youth from the rooftop of an under construction building at Kanthaltala of Puratankashba in Jessore town.
The dead was identified as Mintu Hawlader, 28, son of Kashem Hawlader of Puratankashba area.
Enamul Haque, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station told that being informed by the locals Kotwali police recovered the body of the youth from the rooftop of an under construction building owned by Yunus Ali at Puratankashba area in the town at around 3pm. He was stabbed to death. ‘The dead was an accused in several cases including mugging and theft,’ he added.
Ali Hossain, elder brother of the death alleged that Babu of Raipara and Masud Kanthaltala could kill his brother following previous rivalry.
