Tangail Youth Club clinched the DC Gold Cup Football title of Tangail District beating Team BJMC of Dhaka by a solitary goal in the final at the local stadium on Wednesday.
Sohel Rana scored the match-winning goal for Youth Club and was adjudged the best player of the match.
Yousuf of Youth Club named as the best player of the tournament while Didon of the same team received the highest scorer trophy scoring five goals.
Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka Mohammad Zillur Rahman was the chief guest in the day’s final and later he distributed the prizes. Local parliament member Mohammad Sanwar Hossain was also present on the occasion.
