A police team arrested a terrorist and recovered a foreign-made pistol with two bullets, a magazine from a special drive at Pirgacha area under Gabtoli upazila of Bogra district at around 7 pm on Saturday.The arrestee terrorist is identified as Manik Ahmed, 29, son of Abdul Jalil allies Dabu Jalil of Pirgacha area of the upazila.
ASP (A Cirle) of Bogra police Nazir Ahmed Khan said that acting on a tip-off a team of police of Gabtoli police station police conducted a special drive and a arrested the notorious terrorist, arms trader Manik with a 9 mm pistol, 2 bullets and a magazine from his possession on Saturday night.
On interrogation the arrestee was arrested and later confessed of buying the pistol and others materials to police and six cases were filed against the terrorist in sadar and Gabtoli PS, added the ASP.
