A youth was killed by some miscreants over previous enmity at Jamaldi area under Gazaria upazila of the district early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as M Sohel, 22, a cable TV line mechanic and son of Md Nasir of Kharakandi village of Tengarchar of the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Gazaria Police Station Hedayatul Islam Bhuiyan said that a patrol team of police found him severely injured near Jamaldi Brac office of the upazila at about 1.15 am.
