Writ seeking entry of Rohingyas

A writ petition has been filed with the High Court (HC) seeking directives on the government to allow Rohingya people of Myanmar to enter Bangladesh as they are passing a crisis moment in their country.
Abu Yahia Dulal, a Supreme Court lawyer, filed the petition praying to open the Bangladesh-Myanmar border temporarily so that tortured Myanmar citizens can take shelter in Bangladesh. He said in the petition that the repressed citizens of Myanmar should be allowed to enter into Bangladesh on humanitarian grounds.
Abu Yahia told the reporters that the High Court may hold hearing on the writ petition today.
Home Secretary, Inspector General of Police, DG of Border Guard Bangladesh and DG of Bangladesh Coast Guard are in the defendants list.
Police and Army of Myanmar jointly diving eviction against Rohingya people in the Rakhine State of the country. They are being killed, raped and tortured by the State machineries. Rohingyas’ presence in Bangladesh border have been increased after eviction drive was launched. But Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) is pushing back Rohingyas while they are trying to enter Bangladesh. It is only mounting humanitarian crisis.
