A worker was killed as he fell from the rooftop of an under-construction building at Khagan village here on Friday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abu Taleb, 26, son of Yusuf Bepari of Kalyanpur village in Rajbari district.
Witnesses said, 10 workers, including Taleb, were working on the rooftop of a two-storey under-construction building in the afternoon. Suddenly, Taleb slipped down the rooftop and died on the spot.
