The Walton 1st Open Wrestling Championship starts today at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation has arranged the wrestling competition while Walton will sponsor the meet.
The events of the competition for men will be held in eight weight categories. They are: 57 kg, 61 kg, 66 kg, 70 kg, 74 kg, 86 kg, 97 kg and 125 kg.
The events of the competition for women will be held in eight weight categories. They are: 48 kg, 51 kg, 55 kg, 60 kg, 63 kg, 69 kg, 75 kg and 90 kg.
The prize-giving ceremony will be held tomorrow.
