Business Desk:
Vision Electronics has introduced Google Authorized Android TV to the market as first local brand. RN Paul, Managing Director of RFL Group, inaugurated the TV at a program at RFL’s head office in Badda on Sunday, said a press release.
Google Authorized Android TV’s own operating system and the accompanying Play Store applications will be automatically updated and viewers will be able to enjoy the official features of Android.
The major differences between authorized Android and unauthorized Android is that the TV with unauthorized Android operating system loses all functionality of its applications within a short time and the update stops.
As a result, the customers do not enjoy the pleasure of the original application.
A 32-inch Vision Smart LED TV, approved by Google, has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of ROM and Android 9.0 operating system. The consumers will get the option of voice search which can be done by pressing a button on the remote as the TV is supported by Google Assistant.
Addressing the program, RN Paul said, “Our local brand vision has got acceptability among the customers for its quality. We always try to introduce quality electronics products with the latest technology keeping in mind the demand of the customers. We hope, the TV having modern features, will get popularity among the customers.”
Currently, two models of 32 inch Google Authorized Vision Android TV are available in the market, with a maximum retail price Tk 27,500. The TV is available across the country through Vision Emporium and authorized dealers.
