A student of International Islamic University, Chittagong died of collision with a running train at Kumira area under sitakakunda in Chittagong yesterday at about 9 am . The victim identified as Sajidul Islam(25), a student of sixth semester of Economics department.
While contacted Proctor of the university Dr. Md. Shafi told that victim sajid was coming to the university from his city residence aimed at appearing his exam at 10 am and he serisouly injured with collision of train engine while crossing the rail line inside the university campus. He was immediately rushed to Chittagong medical college hospital whre the attending physicians declared him dead, hospital police camp sources said. Incharge of railway police camp Niranjan Paul said IIUC student Sajid injured critically with collision of Chittagong bound Chattal express while crossing the railway track in Kumira area who expired later in the hospital.
