The Victory Day Kabaddi competition will begin on Saturday (December 12) at the Kabaddi Stadium in the city.
M A Hannan, Secretary of Bangladesh Liberation War Affairs Ministry, is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
A total of seven teams — Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh, Bangladesh Navy, Bangladesh Air Force, Bangladesh Jail, Bangladesh Police, Fire Service and Civil Defense — split into two groups will compete in the meet, sponsored by Bangladesh Liberation War Affairs Ministry.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation is organising the event.
