An unidentified man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Sholoshahar area of Panchlaish thana in the city yesterday morning.
Police said the man aged about 31 was killed as he fell under the wheels of a running train near Sholoshahar railway station at 8am However, detailed information regarding the accident could not be known immediately. Receiving information from the locals, Government Railway Police (GRP) recovered the body around 10am and sent it to the morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death (UD) case was lodged with railway police station in this connection.
