United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) held its 35th Annual General Meeting on Monday at Kurmitola Golf Club in the city presided by its Chairman Rukhmila Zaman, said a press release. In the AGM, shareholders have approved 10 percent cash dividend for the financial year 2017.
Rukhmila Zaman, Yunus Ahmed and MA Sabur, Afroza Zaman and Muhammed Shah Alam has been re-elected as directors of the bank.
Moreover, in a Board meeting at the banks corporate office immediately after the 35th Annual General Meeting Rukhmila Zaman has been re-elected as the chairman while one of the sponsor directors Yunus Ahmed has been re-elected as Vice-Chairman of the bank.
Anisuzzaman Chowdhury has been re-elected as Executive Committee Chairman of the bank. Sponsor Director MA Sabur has been elected as the Risk Management Committee Chairman.
Akhter Matin Chaudhury, FCA (Bangladesh), Independent Director has also been reelected as the Audit Committee Chairman of the bank.
