UAE keen to sign air service agreement with Bangladesh

The United Arab Emirate (UAE) has expressed its keen interest to sign an air service agreement with Bangladesh for establishing sound air connectivity between the two countries.
The interest was revealed when UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Saed Bin Hajar Al Shehi made a call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon at his ministry at Bangladesh Secretariat here yesterday. During the meeting, the minister assured the UAE envoy that Bangladesh government will take necessary steps for signing the air service agreement with the UAE. Referring to the excellent existing bilateral relations between Bangladesh and the UAE, the minister expressed his hope that the ambassador will play an important role in procuring more unskilled and skilled human resources from this country.
The minister said there are ample potentials in making investment in Bangladesh civil aviation and tourism sectors. Menon hoped that the UAE will step forward for making more investment in Bangladesh by utilizing the prevailing opportunities, offered by the Bangladesh government’s investment friendly policies.
