Two robbers were killed in a mass beating while fleeing from Bonparil village in Hatipara union of Manikganj Sadar upazila. Another robber was injured. The incident took place at Bonparil village of Hatipara union around 3:30 pm on Wednesday.
When it was announced from the microphone of the local mosque that the robbers had fallen, the locals chased and arrested the three robbers and beat them up. Two robbers were killed. Another was seriously injured. The injured robber is undergoing treatment at the hospital. The bodies of the deceased have been recovered and sent to Manikganj 250-bed General Hospital Morgue for autopsy. The identities of the dead were not known.
ManikganjSadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge AbdurRauf said on Thursday (March 3) at 11 am, a robbery took place at the house of Yusuf Ali, a former UP member of Hatipara Union and a resident of Bonparil village, on Wednesday night. In this case, legal action is being taken.
