Members of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested two drug traders along with 400 pieces of yaba tablets from Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia thana in the city early Tuesday.
The arrested were identified as Abdur Rahim, 25, and Mohammad Phatan, 34. On a tip-off, a team of the Bakalia Thana Police detained Rahim and Phatan at around 3 am and seized the contraband drugs after searching their bodies.
A case was filed in this connection.
