A mobile court in Chittagong convicted two drug peddlers with different jail terms for alleged involvement in drug trafficking in Chittagong yesterday.
The convicted drug peddlers identified as Shahnaz Begum alias Shanu(30) and Rubel(22) . Chittagong district administration and Narcotics control department , Ctg wing jointly conducted the mobile court yesterday led by district magistrate Shahdat Hossain . Mobile court conducted in Motijharna area of Lalkhan Bazar in city and rounded up two drug peddlers red-handed with yaba tablets .
Narcotics Department Inspector Chowdhury Imrul Hasan confirmed this reporter that Shahnaz Begum and Rubel were convicted with one year and two years jail term by the mobile court
