Training on insemination of Black Bengal goat starts at BAU

A training workshop on ‘Artificial Insemination of Black Bengal Goat was started at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Bangladesh Agricultural University in Mymensingh on Wednesday.
The Project of Black Bengal Goat Development and Extension, Department of Livestock services of Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock and The Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics, BAU jointly organized this training and A total of 30 artificial insemination works from Jessore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Jhenaidah and Mymensinghwere participated. In the inaugural ceremony of the training, Head of the Department of Animal Breeding and Genetics Prof Dr. M. A. M. Yahia Khandoker presided over the training session and Director of livestock Services Dr. Bhabotosh Kanti Sarker was present as the chief guest.
The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Prof. Dr. A. K. Fazlul Haque Bhuiyan was present as chief patron. Project Director Mr. Md. Shariful Haque , The Statistics Officer of Artificial insemination Center Dr. Md. Hatem Ali and Dr. Abu Saeed, Deputy Director of Artificial Insemination Center in Mymensingh, Professor of Animal Breeding and Genetics. Abhijit Saha Apu with invited guests were present In the inaugural ceremony of the training programme.
