BSS, Dhaka :
The Tigers will hardly get any chance of respite as they have to be back in business on Tuesday (October 14) ahead of the home series against visiting Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe cricket team is expected to arrive in the city on October 17 on a one-and-a-half month tour to play three Tests and five ODIs against their Bangladesh counterpart.
The Tigers will desperately be looking forward to turn around their luck in this series as they are yet to win any international matches in the year 2014 against a Test-playing nation.
Luck even denied them from bringing home any positive results from the recently concluded Asian Games as they had to return home with a consolatory bronze medal at the Asian Games as rain disrupted the semifinal, which was decided by coin flipping.
The performance of the second string Bangladesh A side in the recently concluded series against Zimbabwe A, who had a number of national players in the squad, can be a source of inspiration for the team, who are looking forward to fight back from their losing streak in international cricket.
The return of Shakib Al Hasan already came as a big relief for the team but he still has some concerns with his bowling department as the spinner Shohag Gazi has been banned for his faulty bowling action while pacer Al-Amin Hossain is also scheduled to go to Chennai to have his action tested on October 18.
