Bangladesh have won the toss and elected to bat first against Pakistan in the Asia Cup tie on Tuesday. The hosts aim to recover from a losing streak that led to two losses – first against India and then against Afghanistan. Their chance of going ahead in the tournament has been virtually thwarted by these straight losses. While Pakistan are on the edge of a spot in the finals of the competition with two straight victories in three matches, Bangladesh must win today to retain a chance. Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan comes back into the side after ending his three-match ban, while four other changes have been made to the team with Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah, Shafiul Islam and Al-Amin Hossain returning.
