Entertainment Report :Earlier Tanjina Lucky was a radio jockey (RJ). Now she has been acting in faction plays and drama serials one after another. In 2001, hailed from Mirpur Tanjina Lucky started to work in media as a RJ. She started her career by working in an online radio ‘Swadesh’ as a RJ. She worked there for six months at a time. Later she started to host a magazine on Ekushey Television titled Binodon-er Biswa. While hosting in that serial she got the chance to act in Maruf Mithu’s directed a drama serial titled Bishesh Drostobbyo. In her first acting, Lucky got the opportunity to work with Mosharraf Karim. In the meantime, she also performed as a model in two television commercials – RC Cola and RFL – under the direction of Tawhid Mitul. To perform in these TVCs, she became a popular model to all.Therefore, Tanjina Lucky also worked, as a model in the music video of Abdul Jabbar’s son Mithun Jabbar’s a song. Under the direction of Ziauddin Alam she also became a model in a song of Badhon. Tanjina Lucky is now acting in Shahin Hasan’s Hasi Bari, Wajed Ali Bablu’s Rosik Chand, Alvi Ahmed’s Nagorik, Sanjay Barua’s Tia’r Shesh Porbo, Solaiman Jewel’s Porinoti and Parvez Amin’s Kebol-e Drishye-o Jonmo Hoi. “I want estblaish myself as an actress. Because my full concentration is on acting now,” Tanjina Lucky said.During her childhood, Tanjina Lucky has been engaged with music. She developed herself in Tagore song and Lalon song from Benuka Lalitakala Academy. Under the banner of this cultural organisation she performed songs in many programmes. In fact, Tanjina Lucky is grateful to noted Nazrul singer Lina Taposhi for her prosporous musical career, she said. n
