Symon Sadik to star in govt-grant movie ‘Lal Sari’

Dhallywood’s popular actress Apu Biswas is going to debut her career as a producer. She is going to produce a movie. She will play in the central character in the movie. The actress has taken popular hero of present generation, Symon Sadik in the lead role in her government granted movie titled ‘Lal Sari.’ Apu Biswas confirmed the news to The New Nation yesterday.
On Wednesday, Symon Sadik was in Kolkata. While contacting with him from Dhaka he told this correspondent, “When the story of ‘Lal Sari’ was submitted to the committee which gives the grant, the makers asked for my national identification card. After getting the government funding, they finally confirmed me
for casting in the role. I am feeling good in this regard. Apart from that the story itself is amazing
and the most important fact about the movie is that its story is based on the people who are associated with handlooms. In fact, I am very much optimistic about the movie.” It is noted that ‘Lal Sari,’ which is
to be directed by Bondhon Biswas, will be produced under the banner of the Apu-Joy Production house. The screenplay of the movie was written by Tanvir Ahmed Sydney. The shooting of the movie is scheduled to start from November 1.Apu Biswas will be seen in an important role alongside Symon Sadik.
Meanwhile, after returns to Dhaka, Symon Sadik has joined the shooting of ‘Chador’ on Thursday.
Noted film director Zakir Hossain Raju is giving direction of the movie, which is being produced
by the BFDC. The movie casts Sabnom Bubli
opposite of Symon Sadik, said the actor.
Symon Sadik starrer psycho-thriller movie ‘Live,’ directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni, released
last Friday. The movie casts Mahiya Mahi opposite Symon. The actor is getting a positive response from the viewers for acting in this movie. After Mostafizur Rahman Manik directed ‘Jannat,’ Symon starrer
movie ‘Live’ was released after a break of few years.
For this reason, Symon’s fans are showing their
keen interests to watch the movie, said Symon Sadik.
